• Easy Cleaning: Aligners can be removed, making it easier to maintain oral hygiene.

Status of Lingual Orthodontics in the USA:

In the USA, lingual orthodontics has largely been abandoned. This method, which was once widely used, has lost its popularity due to decreasing demand. Companies that used to produce lingual brackets have shut down their production lines in response to this declining demand. Most patients now prefer clear aligner treatments, which are more comfortable, aesthetic, and user-friendly. As a result, lingual orthodontics has almost entirely ceased to be practiced in the USA.
