How the Digital Impression Process Works
Step 1 – Digital Scanning: The iTero® scanner captures the teeth and soft tissues in 3D within 2–3 minutes, producing a detailed model of the mouth.
Step 2 – 3D Modeling & Simulation: The captured data is instantly rendered into a virtual 3D model, allowing the patient to preview their treatment outcome.
Step 3 – Digital Planning: The model is used to plan Invisalign®, All-on-4 / All-on-6 implants, zirconia crowns, or cosmetic smile design treatments.
Step 4 – Fabrication & Application: The digital file is sent to CEREC CAD/CAM or dental 3D printers to create precisely fitted restorations, aligners, or implant components.
